At Teresa’s House Cleaning, we offer a free in-home estimate to determine how our staff can help you not only maintain, but beautify your home. Depending on your needs, we can set up regular weekly, biweekly or monthly cleanings, once-a-year cleanings or one-time cleanings.
We have the flexibility to work around your schedule so that our work does not interfere with yours.
What can you expect from Teresa’s House Cleaning?
If you opt for a recurring cleaning, you can communicate with us if there is anything special you want us to focus on. Perhaps it’s paying particular attention to your kitchen, folding clothes or polishing any furniture that needs polishing and dusting any furniture that needs dusting.
We will work with you to set up a cleaning plan based on the size of your home, the type of work you want us to do, and your budget. Our typical cleaning includes the following services:
Vacuuming and Mopping
This is often the easiest part of our work and the most fun. But we’ve found that some pets aren’t so fond of the vacuuming part. Speaking of pets, Teresa’s House Cleaning is pet-friendly and will work around these important members of your family.
Now back to the fun part. We will vacuum all carpets and mop all hardwood floors. If you have stains in your rug (or furniture) that you’d like us to try and remove, let us know ahead of time and we can do a steam cleaning of those areas so we can make them look and feel as good as new.
As part of our initial consultation, we ask that you notify us of any rooms in your home that have natural stone floor surfaces as certain methods of cleaning are better than others. For instance, vacuum cleaners can scratch some stone surfaces. However, dust mopping can be as effective as vacuuming without causing any damage.
Dusting and Wiping
Whether it’s your kitchen counters, bathroom backsplashes, window blinds, or bedroom cabinets, we will dust all areas of your home, removing from them those unwanted particles that tend to settle when left untouched.
We also will wipe down any sections of your home – wood cabinets and doors, windows, mirrors, bathroom and kitchen counters, wood and glass furniture – that can benefit from a more thorough cleaning to help eliminate any dirt, debris or other materials that have built up over time.
During our first consultation, we ask that you inform us what type of countertops are in your kitchen and bathroom so our staff knows ahead of time the proper method for cleaning those areas of your home. For instance, granite should only be cleaned with warm, soapy water or a mild bleach solution and rinsed thoroughly. Because of its soft nature, we do not use abrasive scrub pads as they can scratch the surface of your granite countertops. Knowing this information beforehand ensures that our staff can provide you the best service without negatively impacting your home.
Organizing
As a cleaner with more than 35 years of experience, we know that having your belongings in the right place is a major component to your happiness. When you choose Teresa’s House Cleaning, we can help with that.
Whether it’s a one-time cleaning or the 100th, we will work with you to understand where you want your household items to go and how you want them arranged. We will make note of that for future cleanings because your happiness is important to us.
